I am so lucky to get to see all of these gorgeous settings as part of my job. I can’t believe I have never been to Vashon Island before, but I am sure I will be back. Brian and Stacy wanted to have the ferry be part of their engagement session, since they have spent many great times traveling the ferries as a couple. We started at Lincoln Park in West Seattle and then took the ferry to Vashon. I had such a great time with the two of them. I am very much looking forward to their wedding this summer.

The holidays are always so crazy, I think I have finally just recovered from all the busyness. I thought I would start off with a new type of  blog post- Inspiration. Photography is how I express myself, but my photography is inspired by music, poetry, people, and more.  So, here’s the first one.

I am inspired by… my home.  I did not grow up in Washington State, but I have lived here for the last 6 years.  I love living here.  I love being surrounded by beauty everywhere I go.  I love that I feel like I live in forest, yet have the city so close by.  Here are just a few photos from my recent trips around Western Washington.  Hope you enjoy.
