2011 Love

2011 has been a whirlwind. As you might have noticed, I have not blogged for a while, but I have definitely been busy. I was so lucky to have witnessed so much love this year, to have visited so many gorgeous places, and have met so many wonderful couples. Here are some of my favorites from the year. Derek and Dung’s West Seattle Engagement Photos – Saskia M Photography – Seattle Engagement and Wedding Photographer

I had a wonderful time with Dung and Derek in West Seattle. We spent some time in Lincoln Park, which is such a great location for woods, fields, and beach. They are a genuinely sweet couple and I loved walking around with them. Like it often does in Seattle, the rain started to pour half way through the session but it did not seem to phase them one bit. We ended the session on the swings by the beach. What better way is there to end the day?

Khoa and Thuy are a stunning couple. They decided on an intimate ceremony and reception, but decided they wanted me to take portraits of them in between the ceremony and reception. I was so thrilled that they did. The forecast said rain all week, but we were so lucky and ended up with a perfect day for their wedding portraits at the beautiful Kubota Gardens.
