Chapin and Chelsea’s wedding was held at a beautiful home in Kingston, just a short walk from the beach. The details were so unique and most of them were handmade by Chelsea herself. Chelsea was the first bride I had who actually made her own dress. Although most of the wedding was put together by Chelsea and their wonderful friends and family, delicious catering was provided by James Redel. Thanks also to the wonderful Dana Pleasant for being my second shooter. Check out all the sweetness for yourself.
Chip and Chelsea both wore Vans on their wedding day, which was a great example of the creative casualness of the day.

I loved the ribbons on the back of Chelsea’s dress.

Chelsea gathered bouquet’s together from Pike Place market.

The ceremony was held under a tree in one of the beautifully landscaped areas of the property.

There were plenty of lawn games around the property for guests to enjoy.

The night was topped off with cake from PCC and Trophy cupcakes

I had such a great time with Chapin and Chelsea at their Engagement Session. I immediately got along great with them and learned a lot about them, their wedding, and paper (no really- Chapin works in the paper industry and I honestly found it so fascinating). We decided to go view their venue in Kingston together and take some photos on the way. We had a great time on the ferry- I have been wanting to take ferry photos for a while and was lucky to get to do it with such a cute couple.

We snuck out of the ferry line to get a few photos at Brackett’s Landing. It had to be fate that this will be the first stop on the way to the wedding as its also Chapin’s last name.

Before our ride back they stopped for a bite at J’aime Les Crepes. They said they were delicious, so if you are in the area…

My absolute favorite. The wind on the ferry made for some windy hair, but it totally works in this one.
