Andrew and Nicole’s Engagement Session- Saskia M. Photography – Portland Wedding and Engagement Photographer

I met Andrew and Nicole for the first time for during the Engagement Session and they showed me around Portland. I could not have asked for a nicer couple and they were such sports. They walked all around Portland with me even through the pouring rain. I think it was worth it though, some of my favorite photos from the session would not have been possible without all the beautiful raindrops.

We started our shoot down by the water.  The rain came pretty quickly.

We did manage to find some shelter along the way.

After walking through Portland a bit we explored the train station.

Then Andrew and Nicole lead me to this beautiful park in the Pearl District.

Of course at the VERY end of our shoot, the sun finally came out.

Josh and Bonnie Engagement Session – Saskia M Photography – Seattle Wedding and Engagement Photographer

Josh and Bonnie really took me on an adventure for their engagement session. They suggested that we take photos at Seward Park, which I had only been to once before, and I realized I was missing out. This park is beautiful! Not only that, but it held a lot of special memories for the two of them as well as being a special place for Bonnie when she was growing up. I thought we would walk around the park and get a few photos- but really it ended up being more of a hike. It was perfect for this couple since they love the outdoors. They also obviously love each other, they were so natural and sweet with each other that they made it easy. By the end of the shoot we both got a work out. Bonnie and Josh because they had run a few miles already in the morning, and me, because I don’t usually run a few miles. But it was totally worth it. I am in love with these photos, it was so hard to just pick a few to blog.

Paul and Bridget’s Engagment Session- Saskia M Photography – Seattle Engagement Photographer

Paul and Bridget are such a sweet couple. I had a great time walking around Downtown Fremont with them last weekend. Fremont has some great locations and I love the classic romantic feel that the photos have. Thanks so much for spending the day with me.

We started off at 35th Street Bistro with a champagne toast.

I love all the old buildings around Fremont. The Fremont Public Library was a gorgeous backdrop for this gorgeous couple.

The stores in Fremont are so pretty. We took the following pictures in front of Les Amis which has gorgeous clothes and the best smelling candles.

I never get tired of a couple making each other laugh.

We ended our day with a walk along the Canal.

Paul and Bridget were joined by another cute couple that wanted their picture taken!
