Tara and Kham Family Photos – Saskia M Photography – Snoqualmie Family Photographer

Tara and Kham are wonderful friends. Their family has always been one of my favorite subjects. You may recognize Mr. J, but this time I got to photograph his little sister Miss K too! Tara suggested an amazing location in Snoqualmie. The lupin were beautiful and we even got some golf in with the kids. They really are such a gorgeous family and Tara was glowing. Can’t wait to photograph the two new additions this fall.

I always do “posed” portraits during the session.  But I also make sure that the kids have some time just to have fun.  These are always some of my faves.

Mr. J was so excited for our trip because he got to go to the duck pond. I think this is my third session in the last two months that has involved ducks… whether planned or not.

How adorable are they?

Tara found the most beautiful location. Snoqualmie really is a gorgeous place.

Of course, we had to make time for a short golf game. :) Mr J. was a pro and Ms. K was pretty good for her first time. She’s only been walking for a few months and already she is swinging a club!

Jenny and Tom’s Engagement Session – Saskia M Photography – Redmond Engagement Photographer

Jenny and Tom are such a fun, genuine couple. I knew immediately when I started to find out about their wedding, that it was just the kind of wedding I would love to photograph. When Jenny told me that one of the things that they enjoyed was biking AND they might be involving a tandem bike in the wedding ceremony, I thought that bringing it along on the engagement session would be a lot of fun. Jenny and Tom were great and I enjoyed walking and biking the Sammamish River Trail with them. I am so excited for their wedding in July!

Family Photos at the Arboretum – Saskia M Photography – Seattle Family and Children’s Photographer

I met up with the Daniel, Annette, and Mr. C recently for our photo “play date” at the arboretum. I had a blast with them and I’m pretty sure they had fun too. Mr. C is such a funny kid, and since I’ve known his dad for the past four years, I know exactly where he gets it from. Thanks so much for spending the morning with me!

Happy Face…Sad Face.

Mr. C was so excited to see the ducks.  It’s what we spent most of our time looking for.

I love these galoshes!  Just perfect and practical.

This was too cute.  Mr. C decided to sing a song to the ducks to get them to come back…

…and they did come back!

On our way back to the car, he just had to jump in the puddles. And of course I had to make sure I captured it.
