As you might have noticed, I have not blogged for a while, but I have definitely been busy. I was so lucky to have witnessed so much love this year, to have visited so many gorgeous places, and have met so many wonderful couples. Here are some of my favorites from the year. Families gather from many places to celebrate. A wedding is really the creation of a new family. This was something that was clearly central to Timothy and Lauren’s wedding. Not only was their wedding a celebration of their love, but a celebration of the new families that were joined together. They did an amazing job of making the day enjoyable for everyone. The day was filled with children, including their adorable daughter Sadie, running in the grass, doing arts and crafts, and dancing. I feel blessed to have witnessed such joy. Thanks to the amazing Dana Pleasant for helping me to capture their day.

They decided on an intimate ceremony and reception, but decided they wanted me to take portraits of them in between the ceremony and reception. I was so thrilled that they did. The forecast said rain all week, but we were so lucky and ended up with a perfect day for their wedding portraits at the beautiful Kubota Gardens.
