2011 Love

2011 has been a whirlwind. As you might have noticed, I have not blogged for a while, but I have definitely been busy. I was so lucky to have witnessed so much love this year, to have visited so many gorgeous places, and have met so many wonderful couples. Here are some of my favorites from the year. A lot of these weddings and engagements have not been blogged, so check back to see the full posts.

Lauren and Timothy’s Snohomish Wedding – Saskia M Photography – Seattle and Snohomish Wedding Photographer

Family is a central part of any wedding. Families gather from many places to celebrate. A wedding is really the creation of a new family. This was something that was clearly central to Timothy and Lauren’s wedding. Not only was their wedding a celebration of their love, but a celebration of the new families that were joined together. They did an amazing job of making the day enjoyable for everyone. The day was filled with children, including their adorable daughter Sadie, running in the grass, doing arts and crafts, and dancing. I feel blessed to have witnessed such joy. Thanks to the amazing Dana Pleasant for helping me to capture their day.

Stephen and Elaine’s Engagement Session- Saskia M Photography- Seattle Wedding Photographer

Stephen and Elaine were such a fun couple to shoot. Stephen could not keep his eyes off of Elaine and Elaine could not stop smiling and laughing when she was with Stephen. We took a walk around Sculpture Park, which is always a great place to shoot and I was so glad that they took me on a walk to a fishing pier that Elaine had always loved. Thanks for sharing the day with me, can’t wait for your wedding in just a few weeks.
